Is Ball Knowledge a sportsbook?
No. Ball Knowledge does not accept, place, broker or pay out wagers of any kind, and does not link you to anyone who does. It is an information and entertainment app about what public betting shows say and how those calls turn out.
Where do the picks come from?
From publicly available sports betting shows and podcasts on YouTube. We transcribe each episode, and a reader pulls out the bets the hosts and guests say they are making. Each pick keeps a short quote and a timestamp that links to that moment in the original show.
How is a pick graded?
On the number the caller actually said, at the price they said (or the market price at the moment the show went up), against the final score or the player's box score. Spreads and totals also get closing-line value: the caller's number against the consensus closing line. A pick made more than once by the same person counts once. Conditional bets, leans and parlays are tracked separately from straight bets.
Can the record be wrong?
Yes, occasionally. Transcripts and AI readers make mistakes: a wrong line, a mis-heard team, a joke read as a bet. Anything uncertain is held for review rather than counted, and you can report a pick from its card. We fix errors and the record updates. Treat records as a strong signal, not a certified audit.
Do you have the creators' permission?
We quote short excerpts of public shows, with attribution and a link to the original, for the purpose of commentary and record-keeping. We do not host or republish the shows. Creators who have questions can reach us at creators@getballknowledge.net.
Does the Sharp tell me what to bet?
No. The Sharp answers questions about the ledger and the game data and shows what it consulted. It is not betting advice, and it can be wrong. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to place a wager.
When does it launch, and what does it cost?
It's in TestFlight now. Waitlist members get the invite first. Pricing is shown in the app; any subscription is billed through the App Store and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple ID settings.
Who can use it?
You must be 21 or older, or the legal age for sports wagering where you live if that is higher, and old enough to agree to our Terms. The app is rated for adults.
